Who Can Produce Biodiesel?
Anyone that has access to any kind of vegetable oil or fat. It can be anything from canola oil to used fryer fat. The fuel produced is biodiesel and can be used in most diesel engines with little or no modification.
Ageratec processors are composed of two stainless steel tanks. One tank is a pre-heater tank and the other is the process tank that is pressurized. The heating process is carried out by a heat pump and the temperature is maintained by an electrical heater. The heating process can also be carried out by a heat exchanger if warm water or steam is available.
The complete system is situated on a frame to allow easy transportation. The processor is run by a sequence controller that controls the sequence and time interval.
Methanol is compounded in a separate receptacle in an approved space and location. Glycerol is drained into drums for further processing or for the purpose of being sold. Biodiesel filtrates in two steps in order to avoid problems with fuel filters.
